Inspiration

This painting was inspired by a new season of my life. I had recently moved into historic building in downtown Macon that had a big wooden fire place, green tile, and grey walls. I started playing around with the colors and shapes of the room in this painting and eventually added more color. This painting has evolved over the course of several month, just as this new chapter has evolved for me personally.

The title comes from the song “Gasoline” by HAIM.
